The Biggest Issue With Clients When Leaving The Salon Is They Always Say They Can’t Maintain Their Hair At Home

Here’s The Simple 5 Steps:

1. Shampoo your hair as often as necessary cleansing it with a clarifying shampoo used to remove styling product build-up on all hair types. After refreshing and reviving your hair with a clarifying shampoo, shampoo you hair with a moisturizing shampoo to help lock in moisture and prevent dry and brittle hair.

2. Deep condition your hair 2-4 times per month depending on the dryness of your hair. Deep condition your hair once a week if your hair is damaged, color treated, dry or has a relaxer. Depending on the condition of your hair leave the conditioner on anywhere from 5-30 minutes. This will give your hair the hydration and nutrients that deep conditioners offers.

3.Blow dry your hair from the roots to the end using one of my favorite Denman Cushion Brush.

4. Style your hair as desired. Wrapping it at night or using Twist Flex Rods to maintain your desired look…

5. Be sure to follow up with your trims every 8 to 12 weeks.Taking off the minimum necessary to eliminate split ends..It’s important to know that hair grows on an average of a quarter-inch every four weeks….Of course everyones hair is different, some people’s hair grows faster and some grows a bit slower. Getting rid of split ends reduce breakage, which makes the hair look thinner at the ends and shorter.
